Introducing Let's Make Art Matter
Hello friends,
We want to start off by saying we think you are amazing, brave, and wonderful people who are still chasing down their creativity and try something new. And we love you for that.
We have all learned as we go through our days that life is hard, and we don’t necessarily mean just one person, we mean everyone’s. It may be one particular family that had a very rough yearrom cancer to suicide to miscarriages to divorce. Every time something horrible happens we want to say something, anything, that could comfort them, but who even knows what to say in those situations? So instead of saying, we create. Just so they know we are thinking about them, just so they know they are loved. t is through these experiences that we realized that art can be so much more than fun illustrations. Art can help bring people together, spread love, and sometimes heal. want everybody to know that.
So every month in our subscription box we include a little postcard. A postcard for someone who needs a little extra love or thought. But we need your help. While we would love to send these postcards to people we personally know, we want this to reach beyond my grasp, and that is where you come in. As you go about your day, think of someone who might need this. t can be anybody, a sweet neighbor that you appreciate, someone who is lonely, or down, or sad. Send us their information and we can see if we can brighten their day, even just for a little bit. Because we are all in this together.

Thank you for brightening people’s day and supporting the Art World!
Love the new paint pan. I can travel with this!! Thank you.
Let’s Make Art Matter is my favorite part of each monthly kit. Painting to brighten someone’s day or week brings so much joy. Thank you for this opportunity.
I found the right spot. So sorry for the duplicate. I would like to nominate Annette High. She is undergoing extensive and grueling chemo and deals with other health issues that cause the chemo to be more difficult to endure. She is a beautiful person with an upbeat and loving spirit. She loves art but does not have the energy to actively make art. She would be so blessed and thankful to be the recipient of creations by this group. Thank you for considering her. She is on Facebook and has a relatively open page if you’d like to check her out.
My sister in-law is an artist. 8 months ago she was diagnosed with lung cancer and had to have a lung removed. One week later she had an aneurism in her brain leading to a stroke. She was re-learning everyday tasks and had even started to read words again. She is now in the hospital complications r/t kidney issues. She is only 54. Her name is Christy and her husbands name is Jim. He is beside himself. I would love to see the look on Christy’s face if she were to get some cards from Let’s Make Art! Never give up! Always Try! Don’t compare your art with others! Enjoy the journey! Blessings!
