Let's Make Art Matter - November 2022 Hygee Watercolor & Ink Painting
Share
November is a time to slow down and show intentional gratitude. This month we're encouraging our LMA community to take time to paint a postcard for someone in your life who could use a little extra love and appreciation... and in the spirit of hygge, think of painting a postcard for someone that when you think of them, you think of comfort. Check out the Hygge mini tutorial from watercolor artist Sarah Cray, and learn how to paint all of your favorite things in an illustrative ink and wash project.
Join watercolor artist, Sarah Cray, as she teaches how to paint an illustrative ink and wash project. A pre-stamped postcard is included in our Hygge box. If you are not subscribed, but would still like to send some love, please email hello@letsmakeart.com for the address.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching you step through the process. You have inspired me and I think I might try to do this for my kids/grandkids for Christmas. Anytime would be a perfect time. Thank you!
I loved the ease with which you sketched and then painted. Love the ‘not perfect’ look…and adding the edging color pulled it all together. Thanks for the great video!
Just wanted to let you know I love your site and Sarah.

Dearest Sarah,
What a beautiful tutorial this morning for me to enjoy before I start my day. Absolutely lovely painting you did and it made me think of several of my friends that are currently under the weather with health issues. I’m going to create something for them that would send them some love and healing energy. Thank you so much for the inspiration. Hugs M
