Let's Make Art Matter for Sara-August 2019
On March 19th, 2019, Deputy Ryan Thompson was killed in the line of duty. His death rocked the entire county and Washington State. To know Ryan, even for a little while, meant he was special to you. He was extremely kind and loved serving the community. An inmate, after finding out about Thompson's death, was quoted saying: "He was the nicest person who ever arrested me." Approximately 3,000 people attended his public service. He was a great father and husband who is terribly missed. Join us in making art matter for his widow Sara and their family this month.
A pre-stamped and addressed postcard was included in your August Watercolor Subscription box. If you are not a subscriber and would like to participate, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for the address.
Thank you for making art matter with us!
