Let's Make Art Matter for Gary- November 2019

Gary served our country in Korea. It wasn't until years later that, while in college, his daughter decided to send "thank you" cards to local veterans in town. Naturally, she sent one to her father who appreciated the gesture. Later she learned that it had taken over 40 years for someone to thank him for his service to his country.

Gary's daughter explained that, although people are so quick to post on social media their appreciation and gratitude for those that serve, we often miss the opportunity to thank someone face to face. Our selfless veterans are very deserving of love and compassion.
