Let's Make Art Matter for Donna and Loren- October 2019
Share
Donna is an amazing mother who uprooted her entire life to move across the country to care for her son, Loren. Loren, who is in his 20's, is in New York City battling Fanconi Anemia (FA), Type A for the second time, while having undergone two bone marrow transplants in the last three years. Even through all the bad news and procedures, he continues to remain positive.
While caring for him, Donna has been enjoying caregiver art sessions that the Sloan Kettering and Ronald McDonald house offers. Art has a magical therapeutic affect, and we want to keep that feeling of solitude coming even when her current art sessions end. Let's shower Donna and Loren with art this month to show our love and support!
You will find a pre-stamped and pre-addressed postcard in your October Watercolor Subscription box to use for Donna and Loren.
