Let's Make Art Matter for Barbara- October 2021 Kids Art

This month in the Let's Make Art Kids box we are painting for Barbara. Let’s cheer on Barbara as she fights through some hard times and remind her of the light she is in this world. Sadly in August, she suffered a severe stroke. She was hospitalized for two months straight and lost the ability to independently perform any daily tasks such as eating, walking, writing, and talking. Barbara's family came together to care for her and create as many moments of joy as they can.

Before the strokes, Barbara and her daughter watercolored with Sarah together. They have now reintroduced water coloring with Let's Make Art as a part of the home rehab they do as a family. At the start, Barbara could barely get the brush to paper, but she has come so far.
