Spring has sprung! Last year, I decided that Spring was my favorite season (before then I was a hard autumn girl). I absolutely love it when all the vegetation starts to turn and the buds and flowers start to bloom. I love how green everything gets, and I love that the sunlight last longer throughout the day (I also don’t have allergies, which helps). So to welcome spring in all her magnificent glory we are painting peachy pink peonies. I chose the soft pink because it reminds me more of Easter (which is coming up SOON! Does anyone else feel like this year is flying by?!). We will be doing more line-work on this floral, so try and have a liner brush handy to make things a bit easier for you. We also won’t do an outline for this one because I feel like on some paintings it should be a bit more freeing, but don’t let that deter you! BE BRAVE! We can’t wait to see what you come up with!
