So last project we played with wet on wet technique - this project we are playing with wet on dry! Pretty much you are doing another layer on top of an already painted area that has dried. I absolutely love this technique (and do it for every animal project pretty much) because that is how you get those amazing sharp details that elevate your painting! Remember to really play with the washes as you lay them down (don’t be afraid of different values and textures on your initial wash for the body - it will add interest - promise!) and keep in mind that if you want the details to sharp then make sure the area is dry before you paint on it!
Have you ever wanted to be inspired by painting with us, but weren't willing to make the plunge to get all the supplies? We understand the dilemma. That is why we created the paint kit! So take a deep breath, add the kit to your cart, and give it a try! You won't regret it!
