I have been so in love with landscapes lately, their simplicity is so stunning and it is a great way to understand how value adds to dimension and space . This week we are doing a monochromatic mountains, monochromatic means just to use one color, and with the one color we will use different values to communicate space (atmospheric dimension.) I, of course, chose navy as my color (my go to color ALWAYS) so I mixed true blue and black together, but you can use whatever color you would like! This project is a great exercise in value, layering, mixing, and patience (we wait for a lot of things to dry.) Can’t wait to teach you how to do this one!
