QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR ORDER

Q: WHEN WILL I GET MY ORDER?
A: Orders are generally processed and shipped within 3 business days. Then, it typically takes 3-8 days once shipped for your order to arrive. You'll get an email with the tracking number once your order is processed and ready to ship.

Q: HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING?
A: Shipping is free on orders $35 and up! If it's under $35 the shipping fee is $2.99.

Q: I BOUGHT A SUBSCRIPTION BOX AND OTHER ITEMS. WHEN WILL THEY ARRIVE?
A: We are so thrilled you are going to start painting with us regularly! If you purchased a subscription box and other items all on the same order ticket it will all get shipped together between the 18th-25th of the month. If you would like items sooner you can do 2 separate purchases or you can email us at hello@letsmakeart.com and we can send the non-sub items sooner for you.

Q: HOW DO I TRACK MY ORDER?
A: If you have an account (we recommend that you create an account if you are ordering from LMA), you can log in and check the status of your order anytime. Additionally, you will receive a shipping confirmation email that will include your tracking number.

Q: CAN I MAKE CHANGES TO MY ORDER?
A: If you need to make any changes or cancel your order, please contact us immediately at hello@letsmakeart.com! If your order has not yet been processed, we can make changes to your order. However, our warehouse often processes orders within a couple of hours. If we have already processed your order, we will be unable to make any changes or cancellations.

Q: WHEN DO I GET CHARGED FOR MY ORDER?
A: When you place your order, you will be charged immediately for it. If you order a monthly subscription box, your first payment will be charged at the time of purchase. In the months following, payment for your next boxes will be processed on the 18th of every month.

Q: WHY CAN’T I USE PAYPAL?
A: PayPal is available as a payment option for everything except the subscription boxes. So if you have the subscription box in your cart, you will not be able to pay with PayPal. If you would like to use PayPal for non-subscription box items, you can absolutely do a separate order for your subscription box.

Q: MY ORDER ARRIVED DAMAGED, HOW DO I GET A REPLACEMENT?
A: We want you to love your kits and have fun painting, so if there is any issue with the package you receive, please email us and we will help you out. If there is a damaged item or leaked paint bottle, we would appreciate if you would please email us a picture of that item at hello@letsmakeart.com. This will help us know what to do for you, as well as prevent others from having a similar experience in the future.

Q: THIS ORDER IS A GIFT, CAN I INCLUDE A NOTE OR HAVE IT SENT IN AN UNLABELED PACKAGE?
A: We don’t offer the option to add a gift note at this time unless it is a 3-month gift subscription that you are purchasing. We hope to add this as an option in the future! All of our boxes come with our logo on them, but email us at hello@letsmakeart.com and we can send you a printable certificate that you can then send to your gift recipient before the gift arrives!

QUESTIONS ABOUT PRODUCTS

Q: DO YOU SELL GIFT CARDS?
A: Yes, we do sell Gift Cards! They cannot be used on our subscription boxes (this includes the 3-month gift subscription), but they can be used on everything else in the shop.

Q: WHAT SIZE ARE THE WATERCOLOR PAPERS INCLUDED IN THE KITS AND BOXES?
A: We supply two 9x12 sheets of Canson cold pressed 140lb watercolor paper in each project kit, which means you'll get 8 total pieces of watercolor paper in a subscription box!

Q: I REALLY LOVE SOMETHING, BUT IT’S OUT OF STOCK! WHEN WILL IT COME IN STOCK?
A: We are doing our best at Let’s Make Art to minimize our ‘Out of Stock’ products. Reorder timelines vary depending on the product, but if you add your email address where it says "NOTIFY ME WHEN THIS PRODUCT IS AVAILABLE", we’ll send you an email to let you know when it is back in stock!

Q. WHERE CAN I FIND THE TUTORIAL VIDEO LINKS?
A. All of our videos are posted to our YouTube and Facebook pages. Like and Subscribe to get notified for both our new Tutorials and our weekly LIVE Paint Alongs. In addition, you can find links to these videos on our individual Project Kit pages here at letsmakeart.com.

QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR ACCOUNT

Q: HOW DO I LOG INTO MY ACCOUNT?
A: If you’re having trouble logging into your account, it’s possible that you have made your previous purchases as a guest. If that is the case, you can send us an email at hello@letsmakeart.com and we can send you an account activation to get you started!

Q: HOW DO I CHANGE MY SHIPPING ADDRESS?
A: You can change your address when you log into your account. However, if you receive the monthly subscription box, you will also need to go to "Manage Subscriptions" in your account and change it there as well. If you have already placed your order, you will need to contact us as quickly as possible about the address updates.

QUESTIONS ABOUT THE SUBSCRIPTION BOX

Q. WHEN ARE THE SUBSCRIPTION BOXES SHIPPED?
A. Our subscription box shipping period runs from the 22nd - 28th of the month.

Q. I AM A NEW SUBSCRIBER. WHICH BOX WILL I GET FIRST?
A: Our new subscriber cutoff is the 25th of the month. If you subscribe after the 25th of the month, your subscription will start the following month.

For example, if you order your new subscription on the 7th of June, we will send you the July box during the shipping period of June 22-28. This gives you plenty of time to get ready for the first project of the month. If you order your new subscription on June 26th, after the new subscriber cutoff, the first box you receive will be the August box, to be shipped July 22-28.


Q. WHAT IF I ORDER AFTER THE CUTOFF, BUT STILL WANT THE BOX?
A. We occasionally have extra boxes after all subscription boxes have been shipped. If that is the case, those will be available here on our site to purchase individually.

Q. CAN I GIFT A SUBSCRIPTION BOX?
A. Of course! That's so thoughtful of you! You can purchase a 3-month Gift Subscription for a friend! When you purchase, we will send you a printable certificate as a PDF to print, sign, and gift away.

Q.WHAT BRUSHES AND OTHER SUPPLIES DO I NEED?
A. We paint primarily with Round 6 and Round 2 brushes and a medium butcher tray palette. Need all three? We made a bundle to keep it simple and to save you a few bucks!

Q. HOW MUCH PAINT IS INCLUDED?
A. Each box includes six colors of liquid watercolors (5ml bottles - not available for individual sale) that are needed to paint the four projects in your box. This also gives you plenty of paint to take a few passes at each project. If you love a color and want more, grab a bigger 15ml bottle and get crazy!

Q. CAN MY CHILD DO THIS?
A. Yes, we believe art is for any age! However, some projects may be challenging for younger children. The recommended age is about 10 and older, though we have come across some regular painters who are younger.

Q: HOW DO I MAKE CHANGES TO MY SUBSCRIPTION?
A: Give this a quick read if you’d like to edit your charge date, skip months, or cancel your subscription.

Q. CAN I CANCEL OR PAUSE MY SUBSCRIPTION?
A. We are a low stress crew over here. All about creativity, not drama. So, if you receive your box and find you don’t love it, you can cancel at any time. If you are traveling, or maybe money is just tight for a month or two, you can go to your customer portal and “SKIP” future payments to pause your subscription until you're ready to come back to it. It’s pretty slick. Let us know if you have any trouble.

Q: I GIFTED A SUBSCRIPTION TO A FRIEND WITH MY EMAIL ADDRESS. HOW DO I CHANGE IT TO MY FRIEND'S EMAIL?
